Max-Flow Race Series Manifold & Up Pipe Kit for your 2001-2004 LB7 Federal Emissions Duramax Diesel. These are meticulously designed to increase engine output through increased airflow. The gradual increase in internal diameter allows the exhaust manifolds to add volume while keeping the most velocity possible. Due to the heat and energy of the exhaust gasses being expelled, expansion will occur within the manifolds and up pipes which will cause an even stronger spool up through the turbine side of the turbo.

The increased diameter of the manifold will be able to send these hot exhaust gasses through the turbine as fast as possible, making it easier for the turbo to spool. The Silica-Moly Cast Iron material also has the ability to retain heat ensuring the heat stays within the manifolds. Quicker spool times have been seen with these manifolds over aftermarket headers because the headers will actually increase the distance the gases need to travel causing some cooling before the exhaust gases hit the turbocharger.

• Manifold and up pipe gaskets are NOT included, we recommend replacing them if you do not have new ones already
• We also recommend the downpipe bracket for customers running this kit with an aftermarket downpipe
  
• PPE downpipe is recommended for best clearance & ensure correct spacing
  
• Some aftermarket downpipes will require slight modification for correct clearance
• To reduce thermal temperatures under the hood pair with the Max-Flow Manifold Blankets
