​The steering box is one of the main components that will see wear Over years of use, steering boxes can develop leaks and play between the sector shaft and the worm gear in the box, and there is no replacement parts for these boxes so we recommend going with a good remanufacture unit. Over the years here we have installed and tested many if not all aftermarket steering box's. Poor results and frequent failures are far to consistent. This GM unit is the only product we have seen very good results with and is the only unit we will install, sell, or recommend on any Duramax.
