GM has discontinued steering boxes for a lot of these Duramax trucks. This left everyone with low quality aftermarket replacements that either leaked or had play right out of the box. - This steering box is a superior option to the rebuilt redhead steering gear boxes. We have had many issues with the redheads leaking shortly after install and that is ultimately what drove us to provide you with this reasonably priced alternative steering gear box.

Clear instructions that included torque specs. Box went in perfect, steering is smooth, easy, and doesn't leak a drop.
Performs as advertised easy to swap
I went through 4 reman gear boxes before the shop said to come back and they refunded all the money I paid them over the past 8 months. I used that cash to buy this one and it fixed.
