I purchased the WCM Tow Hook Valance Delete in Gloss Black for my gas fueled 2018 Silverado 2500, and was very happy with the product! First off, it was great to see that DMAXSTORE even had this product. I had been wanting to take off the lower air deflector from my pickup, but didn't want to cut down the air deflector or have the big air gap remaining. So when I saw this custom steel plate insert, I was sold. Looks very clean and professional. Best part is that I gained back 8 inches of clearance having the air deflector removed! Pulling off the factory air deflector was a chore, but DMAXSTORE provided instructions for taking off the air deflector. However, I deviated from their instructions a bit and chose not to take off my bumper, as outlined in the instructions. Instead I used a 10mm flex head ratchet to take off all the factory bolts that held the air deflector in place. It wasn't easy by any means, but it got the job done. Once the air deflector was off, this insert was easy to put on. I'm very happy with how it turned out! On a side note: I purchased a custom grille to cover the factory design gap in the bumper. That completed the look and protects my radiator.
