PPE’s Performance Transmission Coolers are bolt-on replacement parts. With a 60% increase in surface area PPE coolers will lower your truck’s fluid temperatures up to 30 degrees when compared to stock. This cooler will pay for itself because of increased fluid and transmission life.
Features:

▪ 60% more surface area for heat rejection

▪ Retains use of factory oil lines

DmaxStore Note:

  • When replacing the transmission cooler, you will lose about 1-2 quarts of transmission fluid. We recommend using Transynd Transmission Fluid

2002 lb7 transmission cooler

First impression...the trans coolerwas very well packaged to help prevent damage during shipment. The install was very straight forward and helpful. The cooler is very well built as it's about 1.5 inches taller than the oem unit and about twice the size overall to the oem unit. Can tell the product is very high quality. My transmission lines were also starting to leak so I decided to upgrade the oem lines to a fleece performance hose kit at the same time as I replaced the cooler. I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone in need of a better transmission cooler. My truck was starting to get extremely hot while towing my camp trailer so I'm very much hoping that items will show a significant drop in temperatures but time will tell.

clean setup, Temps are lower now then before when im towing my camper. Only issue I had was the install instructions weren't 100% clear but after fiddling around and going on a different site to show step by step instructions its good

Kit is pretty cut and dry directions are okay if you are inclined enough, my temps haven\'t went over 155F so I\'m happy with the performance and I did the Fleece trans lines as well with the cooler. My only issue was adjusting the hood latch, the cooler was against the latch support so I raised the support and lowered the latch easy peasy
