Notes:

• Main charge cable from the alternator to fuse and fuse to battery is recommended to be upgraded, along with ground cable from the alternator to the frame/block.
• Under high load, Powermaster high output alternators can supply more amperage than the charge and ground cable are rated to handle from the factory. This could result in possibly melting the insulation/wiring or in extreme situations could cause a fire. 
• The factory alternator fuse is rated to 175 amps. It is recommended to upgrade to a 225 amp fuse, 2 gauge or larger wiring especially in high load applications.
