The factory Cold Side on the L5P is a two piece plastic design. This is not only weak but because of that design, you have multiple failure points. The HSP Diesel L5P Cold SidePipe is made out of mandrel-bent aluminum and uses a metal adaptor and high-strength silicone boots to install. This removes those possible failure points and keeps you on the road. The HSP Diesel L5p Cold Side Tube is able to be installed with all of the factory components and no tuning is needed! This means you are able to install easily and install with no worry about any issues after the fact. With the Powder coat options that HSP Diesel offers you can clean up the engine bay and increase the reliability of the truck all at one time.
