• GM recommends replacing the glow plugs if pulled from the bore
• New plugs will need to be programmed once installed
• Whenever replacing a ceramic glow plug, it is required to use a glow plug hole bore cleaning tool to remove the soot build up on the inside of the glow plug hole. If not, when installing a new glow plug, the soot could "side load" and induce a premature failure. Recommend using tool EN-52074 Glow plug bore reamer.
