This GM spindle o-ring is a OEM direct replacement for your current GM spindle. Each Spindle will require 2 o-rings. The O-ring is meant to provide a barrier to protect the wheel bearings and axle of internal corrosion. We recommend replacing the o-rings when you are replacing the wheel bearing since it is easy to replace and prevents any corrosion on your new bearings. Lightly grease before installing.
