The BOSS Torsion-Flex merges the MEGA-DUTY drop hitch with TORSION-FLEX technology, offering innovation and durability. Along with its fully adjustable and versatile design, the BOSS incorporates rubber torsion arms. Consequently, only 10% of the trailer's inertia transfers, a significant decrease compared to the 100% transfer with hard connection hitches. This results in a 90% smoother ride, enhancing fuel efficiency by allowing gliding instead of bouncing. Independent tracking of the tow vehicle and trailer provides customers with improved control and safety by minimizing sway and trailer bounce. Moreover, even weight distribution across the tow vehicle and trailer enhances braking control. The BOSS effectively manages various road conditions, including bumps, potholes, curves, hills, and traffic, ensuring stability. Additionally, it mitigates metal fatigue caused by traditional towing methods, preserving both the trailer and its contents.

Notes: 

  • All GEN-Y Hitch products are rigorously tested and exceed the SAE-J684 Weight Testing Requirements. 
  • Do not surpass the recommended capacity for any trailer tow coupling or vehicle receiver hitch. 
  • Tow capacity is limited by the lowest-rated component. 
  • Average break in period for the hitch is about 500 miles. 
  • If use a pintle ring trailer for towing, use a 2 5/16" ball rather than the 2" ball.
