When the fuel temperature drops below 34° Fahrenheit, the thermostatically controlled High Output Fuel Heater Disk will automatically power on. Fuel is then heated by the 300 watt heating element as it enters the FASS System, preventing gelling in the filters. As the FASS continually polishes and cleans the how heated fuel, it will also be returning fuel to the tank, which in will warm the fuel in the tank, further reducing the possibility of gelling. Once the fuel reaches optimal temperature the High Output Heater Disk will automatically power off, eliminating the possibility of overheating the diesel fuel.
