DmaxStore put together this ultimate fuel filter head package, combining all of the upgraded fuel filter head accessories into one easy to buy kit. This fuel filter head assembly eliminates the heater wire from the head that is common to leak on the older style filter heads. We also threw in all of our upgrades for the filter head, including the aluminum bleeder screw, WIF plug, and the filter head spacer. Lastly, the AC Delco TP3018 fuel filter that has the latest filtration media from AC Delco that improves upon the overall water removal efficiency by 10-20% over the previous design.

- This Part is a direct fit for 2004.5-2016 Chevy/GMC 2500HD/3500 6.6L Duramax.
- Product can be made to work with 2001-2004 LB7 model years by adding the 3 feet of fuel line option and routing fuel lines like pictured below.
- This kit is a must for any Duramax owner with more than 4 years on your factory filter head, Don't let a great summer time vacation or road trip be ruined because of filter system component failure.

I chose to go this route vs many who delete the filter head as I feel it gives you a option to prime if your lift pump fails or you lose prime for some other reason. I like the clearance of the spacer and aluminum bleeder screw although I feel that could get damaged like the plastic one too but definitely better than plastic. Overall definitely happy with it and fixed my hard starting problem from assuming a prime losing filter head definitely recommend. I also added the filter mag just as a extra protection learned that from Kennedy diesel.
This kit is awesome, I used it with a Fleece Performance in tank fuel pump.
