The fuel cap was designed specifically to fit the LM2/LZ0 Duramax Diesel Trucks and fits snugly into the factory filler neck without hitting any of the flaps inside the filler neck. It comes with a strong o-ring seal to ensure a tight fit and keep contaminants out of your fuel tank. It is constructed of T6 6061 Aluminum and features a high quality O-ring that will last for many years to come.
The DEF Cap is a high quality replacement for your factory cap, providing improved durability, functionality and a touch of style to your Duramax. A magnet is built into the cap for easy storage during fill ups.

Well made and looks great. You do not want to spill DEF into the stock open fuel fill neck. With this cap, you do not need to worry about this happening. Also, the DEF cap looks so much better than the original cheap stock cap.
