When installing a lift pump on your Duramax truck, you may find that the pressure provided by your lift pump can spring a leak at the fuel filter head assembly. This will cause the truck to have a hard start or no start issue and can leak fuel under the hood. Save yourself the headache of this issue by installing our DmaxStore Billet Filter Head Plunger Delete. This removes the stock plunger system and replaces it with a complete sealed cap.

Plunger Delete

A little tough to get on cause the seal is so tight but honestly not a complaint… didn’t realize my lift pump would push through my plunger seals so when I found that out and installed this… I stopped leaking fuel all over and can drive with peace of mind… PLUS it looks killer and is great quality!

Awesome product truck seems more responsive to throttle a plus.

Awesome product wasn't leaking when installed. Upgrade before issues arise. Looks cool have filter head mounted above power steering pump. Used same filter after install and truck primed faster and amazingly seems to have a better and more responsive throttle response also a plus.

A must if you have a lift pump.

After rebuilding my factory filter head, it started leaking profusely. The worst part is it wasn't just dribbling fuel, air was getting into my system as well. I considered using a filter head delete, but those are fugly and unsupported. Then I found this plunger delete plate. BINGO. Problem solved.
Now I need to powder coat the rest of the filter head to match it.
