We are proud to introduce our new XD heavy-duty tie rod assemblies for GM trucks, 3/4 ton Suburban, and Hummer H2. The XD tie rod assemblies are now better than ever.  Incredibly strong and an outstanding value. Massive solid forgings plus a larger 32 mm diameter full ball stud and socket allow for increased strength and reliability. This larger socket and ball also offers more articulation than the OE tie rod.

Features:

  • Upgraded forgings
  • Full ball studs
  • Steel-on-steel internal design
  • Increased stud swing
  • Sealed boot
  • Tie Rods come Pre-Greased

Includes:

  • 1x Left & Right DMAX XD Tie Rod Assembly
Notes:
  • Sold as a complete set (Inner, outer, left and right tie rod ends)
  • All Dmax XD tie rods come pre greased at shipment, do not over grease! Damage to boots may occur. Damage resulting from installation will not be covered under warranty!
  • Some applications may require aftermarket sway bar end links. We recommend the Kryptonite sway bar end links for additional clearance of the bigger tie rod body.

Warranty:

  • (Dmax XD Warranty) Dmaxstore XD Steering and suspension parts come with a 3 year unlimited mileage warranty to the original purchaser. Warranty period begins at date of purchase.  If a failure occurs, Dmaxstore will replace the failed part only once it has been received at our facility. Shipping costs are not included under the warranty.

The are beefy…. But . I haven’t even had them on my truck 1,000 miles and there already starting to feel pretty loose in the joints and one of the boots already seems to be leaking grease. Maybe I just got a junk set idk

Hey Cody, we appreciate you giving our tie rods a shot and for the honest feedback.

What you’re describing definitely isn’t typical, especially at under 1,000 miles. These are built to handle a lot more than that, so we want to take a closer look and get this sorted out for you.

A couple things like looseness or grease around the boot can sometimes come down to install or setup (torque spec, alignment, or initial grease fill), but it could also be an issue with the part itself. Either way, we’ll make it right.

Shoot us your order number along with your full setup (wheel/tire size, lift, and how the truck is used), and if possible a quick photo or video of what you’re seeing. That’ll help us and our tech team pinpoint it fast.

If there’s any defect, we’ll take care of it.
