Having issues wearing out CV Axles? DmaxStore has the solution, this extended travel CV axle assembly was designed for the rigorous abuse that Duramax owners put their trucks through with the added stresses caused by modifications to the vehicle the stress on the stock components can often lead to failures. This axle allows for a full 47 degrees of articulation versus the 23 degrees that the factory axle allows, making it perfect for leveled and lifted applications. The thermoplastic elastomer boots offer better life than many of the other boots on standard CV axles. The advantages of these thermoplastic elastomer boots include: ideal flex fatigue characteristics, exceptional tear resistance, protection against water and a wide temperature capability. The upgraded cages, races and bearings allow for smooth operation even at the highest degree of articulation unlike some competitors, this is achieved by the 8 bearing joint versus the factory 3 bearing joint that can limit the articulation and smooth operation of the CV axle. This axle also carries a lifetime warranty against defect and workmanship so you can rest assured your parts hold up ot the test of time.

Features:

  • Extended Travel
  • Higher Articulation Angle
  • Thermoplastic Elastomer Boots
  • Upgraded Cages, Races & Bearings
  • 8 Ball Socket Design for greater strength and durability
  • Lifetime Warranty

Includes:

  • 1 - CV axle shaft for left or right side
  • 1 - CV axle nut washer
  • 1 - CV axle nut, self locking

Optional:

  • CV Hardware Factory length - If your truck has a CV Axle spacer that came with your lift kit, The factory length hardware will not work for your application.

Replaces Part#:

  • GM 20875738

Notes:

  • The Axles Shafts are thicker than the stock unit, this may cause clearance issues on trucks with aftermarket Coilover Shock Lift Kits.
  • You will still need to run the CV axle spacers if your truck currently has them installed using the longer bolts from your original spacer/axle.
  • Make sure to use medium strength thread lock for reinstallation of CV flange bolts. 36mm socket needed for CV axle nut removal.
  • Don't forget to throw on some flashy DmaxStore Valve Stem Caps while under the truck!

(Dmax XD Lifetime Warranty) Dmaxstore XD Steering and suspension parts come with a Lifetime warranty to the original purchaser. If a failure occurs, Dmaxstore will replace the failed part only once it has been received at our facility. Happy with the axles

Drove about 1000 miles since replacement of both front axles on my Duramax 2500HD. Very happy with the axles so far. They seem to have quieted down the noise for me. Previously, I have been getting about 5000 miles on the Carquest brand of axle before the boot rips and throws grease everywhere. I am hopeful these boots will last longer.

No Questions Asked????????

For a warranty with "No Questions Asked" Sure did take me along time to answer the not questions they didnt ask to try and get my part in the system! A $250 CV Axle that didnt last 6 months? Lets see if they take care of it! And also No Customer Reviews? Whats up with That?

Hello Joe, these cv axles carry a lifetime warranty so we definitely want to get this taken care of. Here is a direct link to our warranty form. https://dmaxstore.com/pages/warranty

We also reached out to you this morning in regards to this and left you a voicemail. Kryptonite informed us that you filed a warranty claim with them. This is a DmaxStore product not Kryptonite.

great axle terrible boots

I like the Axle but the boot only lasted about a year then tore at the seam and cant be changed. Really expensive part to replace just for a torn boot!
