After many years of service in other engine applications, the Callies Magnum Billet crankshafts have established themselves as one of the most durable competition crankshafts ever produced. Now the DuraMag Magnum Billet crankshaft is available for the Duramax Diesel engine application. Callies has developed the DuraMag Billet crankshaft that employs the industry’s best ideas. To guarantee consistency, every DuraMag Billet crankshaft is produced from high grade, USA made 4340 billet steel. Improving the balance characteristics of this crankshaft was a primary design consideration. Increased counterweight angles, diameters and thickness are instrumental in making this the easiest balancing crankshaft of its type on the market today. For improved stiffness and durability, rod journals are machined to a width that maximizes the effectiveness of all rod bearing inserts without unnecessary connecting rod mass. All Callies DuraMag Magnum Billet crankshafts are subject to multiple heat treatments, resulting in a crankshaft with unsurpassed wear and strength characteristics. These crankshafts will accommodate all bearing inserts commonly available for GM Duramax engines.

• Rods Must be Narrowed if using a factory replacement rod. We recommend Carrillo HD High Performance Rods which require no modification.
• Std 8 bolt flange, 3.898 (stock) stroke, Mains; Standard Duramax diameter and width, Rod Journals; Standard Duramax diameter with Narrow 2.154 inch. (strength enhancing) width. Damper and Timing gear fit diameters are Keyed for durability.

• We recommend sourcing main bearings/thrust washers through your machine shop
• Thrust washers should be hand fit for proper clearances prior to assembly by your machine shop
