The OEM coolant plate is leak prone, so replace it with the DmaxStore Billet Coolant Block Off Plate. As the name implies, this is constructed of billet aluminum and features an integrated Viton o-ring to eliminate future leaks. Comes with grade 10.9 hardware.

DmaxStore Note:
- You will lose around 4 gallons of coolant.
- Be sure to check coolant level after installation.
- You will need to disconnect the downpipe, removal is not required.

To say it’s an easy job..a bit of an understatement. It’s frustrating especially if you install with your downpipe on. Here’s how to install. Passenger tire off (ease of access), fender liner out ( allows more light in to see), turn wheels to drivers side, look where your downpipe comes down on the passenger side. Remove old (12mm) install new (13mm). You can use a ratchet, long extension, and swivel sockets. Or a high quality watching wrench (takes time). Bottom bolt is easy. Top isthe hard one. You got this. Once it’s done you’ve further improved your coolant system!! 🤜🏻💥🤛🏻 High quality part. Just a bit annoying to install.
Knowing the factory gasket is a weak point I decided to replace the factory coolant block off plate with the DMAXSTORE plate at the same time I replaced both the up-pipe and down-pipe. Perfect fit!
